YouTube Illustration Workshop (Grade 3+) - Wednesday 14th December 9am - 12pm

This 3-hour workshop is designed to take you through the same drawing process I use in my 'How to Draw' YouTube Videos. From construction lines through to completed drawings. You will learn how and why I use the drawing process I do. You will learn and apply this effective drawing process to help with your own drawings.

During the Workshop, students will be taught the following, with plenty of opportunity to practice what they have learnt:

• How to construct and plan a drawing using constructions lines and guidelines.
• Proportion tips and tricks. Get it looking right.
• Detailing and outlining and what pens to use and where.
• Colouring techniques I utilise using markers and coloured pencils.
• Light sources and shading. Where to put the shadows and highlights to provide impact and emphasis in drawing.
• What materials I use and why I use them.
• plus many more tips to improve your drawing.

What’s provided?

All materials used in the session will be provided. These include pencils, markers, paper and other specialist materials to complete their artworks.

What do I need to bring?

Bring along a picture of your favourite character or cartoon so that you can work on drawing your oen version during the class. Please also bring along some morning tea and a drink.

Price

The cost of the session is $67 per child and includes all tuition and materials.
