Manga Drawing Class - Monday December 13th 9am - 12pm (Grades 4+)

Manga, which started in ancient Japan, continues to be tremendously popular today and is used to depict fantasy as well as serious subjects in a comic book format. The word “manga” comes from “man” (whimsical) and “ga” (drawings) and thus can be translated as whimsical drawings or pictures.

In our 3-hour Manga Drawing Class, students will learn about the basic fundamentals of Manga Drawing. 

• Drawing anime character with easiest method 
• Guidelines, construction lines and action lines.
• Shading ,blend and coloring using pencils and Copics.
• Using geometrical shapes while drawing
• Draw Manga character face and different styles of eyes
• Body anatomy for male and female
• Character emotions
• Drawing exercises / training
• Future direction

What do I need to bring?

You will need to bring along any reference materials and images to inspire your work.

Please also bring along some morning/afternoon tea and a drink.

Price

The cost of the session is $60 per child and includes all tuition and the use of all materials.

We are an authorised Copic Marker stockist, which means that individual Copic Ciao markers, sets, blending card and other accessories can be purchased from us at our Studio or via our website. A 10% discount applies for any Copic products purchased on the day of the class. Our prices are already lower than the major retailers on the Sunshine Coast.
